We’re all into baby – and adult – animals this spring! Spending time with animals is not only therapeutic it’s also fun for all ages, from 2 to 92, and who could resist falling in love with the homely, big-eyed and long-nosed face of a llama or alpaca?

Originally from South America, alpacas are a species of camelid which is often confused with a llama. While the two species are related, alpacas are smaller than llamas and are highly coveted for their hypoallergenic (and super soft) fleece. Visiting a llama or alpaca farm is a great way to get to know these cute animals and pick up some alpaca fleece or products at the same time.

Take a walk on the wild side this spring and walk, pet, and fall in love with llamas and alpacas at one of these Ontario’s Highlands locations.
