Road trips are making a resurgence this summer, and for those of us who remember the epic road trips of our youth, it’s easy to understand why. When you set off on a road trip you are setting yourself free from expectations, from committing to be somewhere at a certain date and time (accommodations excepted).

The best part of a road trip is you have the flexibility to stop and smell the flowers, to take a detour when the urge strikes you. This summer, rediscover the freedom of hitting the open road using this three night, four day itinerary (detours encouraged).
