Hammock Time Somewhere Inn Calabogie 

Calabogie’s natural settings make it the perfect place for a romantic getaway. Tucked in amongst the trees, Somewhere Inn Calabogie is a renovated motel with a minimalist vibe. Spend your day skiing at nearby Calabogie Peaks, and your evening snuggled up around the outdoor bonfire.

 Where to Eat: Order a breakfast delivered straight to your door from Oh-el-La Café, so you can enjoy some more couple time. Lunch or dinner will be a breeze at On the Rocks in Calabogie Lodge  or Canthooks  in Calabogie Peaks Resort.
What to Do: So. Many. Things. To. Do. Here! Rent a fat bike from MadRiver Paddle Co. and try this fun sport on a local trail. If you want to glide under the stars, Somewhere Inn will lend you skates to use on the public rink on Calabogie Lake.

Maple Inspired Getaway at Clyde Hall Bed and Breakfast 

This beautiful bed and breakfast is where romance lives. Be pampered at Clyde Hall with a luxurious room in this stunning stone building overlooking the ninth hole of a groomed golf course in Lanark Village. Enjoy a breakfast for two made with real maple syrup produced on the property and then head to the historic town of Perth, a picture-perfect small town made for strolling hand in hand.

All Romance, All the Time at Heather Lodge 

Talk about romance! This is what the folks at Heather Lodge do best. Book an overnight stay at this adults only lodge in Minden and enjoy views of Twelve Mile Lake, the in-room fireplaces, and on-site restaurant. Winter is an invitation for couples to get cozy in front of the fireplace or go for a snowshoe walk on the property.

What to Do: Book a relaxation spa experience for two at Wind in the Willows Spa, located in nearby Haliburton.

We would have been remiss in not including The Baltic Treehouse in Minden on our list! This beautiful accommodation is perched high among the trees and is full of modern conveniences, a Zen-like interior, and beautifully crafted furnishings.
