There’s no better way to learn about the history and culture of a town than directly through the stomach. This was the mission that writer and blogger Jan Feduck, of Dining Out With History, set out on when she wandered into the Wilno Tavern in Wilno, Ontario. Read her story, which explores the town’s Kashub Polish heritage through copious amounts of pierogi and sauerkraut – “too much food for a woman who hadn’t chopped wood all day!” – here.
