Each summer, hundreds of VW Buses converge on the quaint town of Almonte to celebrate their love of these timeless camper vehicles, enjoy campfires filled with laughter and singalongs, and show off their skills during classes like tie-dying and yoga. Be sure to preregister your own VW Bus to attend this year.

Tap into your childhood memories at the Midway all weekend long and celebrate three major modes of transportation: wheels, water, and wings with a Classic Car show and motorcycle rally, Paddle the York River Races and challenges, and an annual fly-in breakfast at the community airport.

For the 10th anniversary year, Perth’s World Record Kilt Run has teamed up with Freedom Fest, a weekend event full of fun and activities for the entire family, inspirational Christian music and an exciting time of fellowship. Sway along to the melodies of top Juno and CMA award nominated acts filling as they fill Stewart Park during this free 2-day music festival. At 5pm on August 17, watch as tartans creating a sea of plaid whiz by you during the World Record run, celebrating the community’s Scottish roots.
