Come Wander
Paddling Activities with Kids Camps

There’s a reason people say camp friends become lifelong friends – the memories forged together at camp are ones that last forever and create a special bond. Whether it’s an artsy camp feeling clay between your fingers, an adventure camp challenging you to reach a little higher, a sports camp improving your skills and teamwork, or one with a little bit of everything, the new experiences and moments of independence have a way of sticking with you.

As many people plan family cottage getaways for the summer and leave their home towns and cities behind, you may feel that your kids have to forego the summer camp experience, but this doesn’t have to be the case. If you’re renting a cottage or planning a trip to Ontario’s Highlands this year, check out one of the following day camps to get the best of both worlds – busy and exciting days for your kids, relaxing dock time for you, and evenings together recanting the stories and new experiences.
