If there’s one activity that has survived generation after generation, it’s road tripping. Memories with the family are made not just at the stops, restaurants, and overnight accommodations, but also in between. Kids laugh, learn, and play, while parents enjoy watching them experience new places and make lasting memories they’ll fondly recall in the years to come.
Family blogger Christine from Amidst the Chaos recapped her travels as she embarked on our Memory Maker Wandering Route over a three day summer weekend. Her family of five had the opportunity to explore nine towns within Lanark County and the Ottawa Valley. In between, they played at Logos Land Resort, picked berries at Hugli’s Blueberry Ranch, learned at Wheelers Maple and explored a mica mine at Murphys Point Provincial Park! Not to mention they sampled some fantastic cuisine and found the “best crepes ever” in the Ottawa Valley. Read about their experience here and start planning your next family trip.
