With a recent legislation change, the roadways in small-town Ontario are a-changin’. ATVers and UTVers now have more access to road travel, and the team at ATV World decided to take advantage of this to explore some of the backroads and trails of the Eastern Ontario Trails Alliance that wind through forests, cross over bridges, and curve along old rail beds across Ontario’s Highlands.
The group left their trucks, trailers, and worries behind as they loaded up their ATVs with all the gear they’d need for a three day trip and embraced the chance to slow things down and take their time exploring. They quickly discovered the welcoming nature of friendly residents; the natural beauty and hidden lookouts that dot the trails; and the mouth-watering treats and local favourites at restaurants and food stops along the way. Check out their full trip for riding tips and suggestions on how you can make the most of your own overnight saddle-bag trip.
